Hello Friends,

June has been such a fulfilling month for me, particularly regarding my art. It's delightful to see how opportunities have bloomed, allowing me to share my artwork with a broader audience. Through local partners and or international showcases, every chance to display my creative passion makes me immensely grateful to be where I am today after my fight with breast cancer as a 34 year old survivor.

Connecting with Al-Tiba9 Contemporary Art Gallery in Barcelona, Spain

One of the most remarkable aspects of this month has been the connections I've made. Engaging with fellow art lovers and enthusiasts in the community has sparked a new wave of inspiration. On an exciting note, my art has also reached audiences internationally! I am honoured to say that I was interviewed by Al-Tiba9 Contemporary art gallery based in Barcelona, Spain recently and they will be publishing a limited edition magazine called 'A Like Artist Vol. 5' in September, 2026 with some of my work and numerous talented artists. Blooming season

It's surreal to think that my pieces have found homes across the globe. The positive feedback and appreciation from people beyond my local area have been overwhelmingly affirming. Each opportunity has helped me refine my skills and think critically about how I present my work. I feel a renewed sense of purpose and creativity, and I can't wait to see how these experiences will influence my future projects.

As I move forward, it's essential to keep cultivating gratitude. I’m thankful for the support of my friends, family, and the incredible art community surrounding me. Sharing art is not just about showcasing talent; it’s about building relationships, learning from each other, and inspiring one another.

Here’s to more months filled with chances to share my passion and grow as an artist. To anyone navigating their creative journey, remember: each day brings new opportunities! Embrace them, learn, and share your story. I know I’ll continue to cherish every moment—and I hope you do too! I have more exciting news to share but will keep my cards close, until the next blog.

Thanks for visiting my little corner of the internet and I hope to connect with you soon.

- Irene.
