December update

Hello and welcome to my blog!

As we approach the beginning of a new year, many of us see it as a prime opportunity for reflection and setting new goals. I've decided that I will be creating new pieces in the new year, so I can truly focus on my health. It's been a struggle trying to regroup after months of cancer treatment, then readjusting to endocrine therapy (if anyone has any pointers for coping on Letrozole, please contact me!)

When discussing health, it’s essential to acknowledge that it includes both physical and mental well-being. In our hectic lives, it’s easy to overlook the importance of making time for ourselves. As we embark on a new chapter, let’s vow to give precedence to our health. This could be as straightforward as taking breaks throughout the day, consuming nutritious meals, or allocating time simply to relax. I have set some goals to maintain healthy eating and starting gentle exercise after months of remaining ill.

Unfortunately, there was a horrific mass shooting that occurred in Bondi (Sydney) yesterday where people were seriously injured and some were killed. This news has shocked our nation, sending waves of sadness, anger, despair and grief throughout the communities. My heart goes out to the families who have lost their loved ones. I hope that everyone who has been negatively impacted, is able to mourn peacefully and rebuild their lives. I know that life isn't always fair but please know that you are not alone.
