February/March Update: milestones and musings
3/19/20262 min read

Hello friends,
I hope you’re all doing well. As February rolls into March, I find myself excited to share some personal news. Thanks for being patient with me, I know it's been some time in between my last blog. Let's dive in.
What I'm currently listening to
I'm currently in my country era. Listening to a lot of the gorgeous Ella Langley lately. Her music makes me want to jump on a horse and ride with the wind in the country side.
What I'm currently reading
In the midst of all these changes, I've picked up a classic novel: Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights. I must say, it is quite captivating! Reading has always been an escape for me, especially during the more difficult times. Wuthering Heights presents an intense look at love, obsession, and the complexities of human emotions. It’s the kind of book you can really get lost in, and I’d love to hear if anyone else has had a similar experience with classic literature during tough times. I am slowly making my way through.
General update
After a lengthy battle with cancer, I've decided to dip my toes back into the workforce with 15 hours of part-time work. This may seem minor to some, but for someone who's been through the wringer, it feels like a massive milestone! Returning to work is not just about the income but a step towards normalcy and regaining my independence. It’s a small victory in the grand scheme of things, but every bit counts.
While I haven’t been working on my art projects lately, I’ve been toying with the idea of starting a podcast. The discussions surrounding breast cancer, especially from the perspective of someone who was 33 at diagnosis, feel quite important to me. I believe that sharing my journey, including the highs and lows, could provide comfort and insight to others who are navigating similar paths. I want to create a platform where we can discuss everything from treatment to navigating daily life during recovery.
In addition to the podcast, I can't wait for future travel plans! I miss exploring new places, feeling the different vibes each city brings. Traveling was always a source of adventure and joy for me, and I look forward to the day when I can adventure again, even if it means starting small. Any recommendations for easy-going travel spots? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet! This February and March has been pivotal and filled with hope. I’m looking forward to what’s ahead with a mixture of excitement and gratitude. Here’s to small steps towards recovery and the adventures that await!
