Dear Art Lovers and Friends,

At 34 years old, I find myself reflecting on a journey that has shaped not only my health but also my outlook on life. As a breast cancer survivor, each day ebbs and flows. My experience has taught me the value of resilience and the power of mental and physical wellness. Recently, I've been passionately engaging in art and applying for galleries and exhibitions, which have been incredibly fulfilling.

Art as a Healing Medium

One of my proudest moments recently was recently selling my piece, "Whispers of Earth." Creating art has served as a therapeutic outlet for me, allowing me to channel my emotions and experiences into something tangible. Through each brushstroke, I reconnect with my spirit and embrace the healing process. Getting my work exhibited not only promotes my artistic voice but also empowers me to share my journey with others who may be facing similar battles.

Holistic Approach to Health

Alongside my creative endeavours, I've been seriously focusing on my health. I recently started a yoga challenge for the month of July with my yoga studio in Vineyard, that has transformed my daily routine. Practicing yoga has been pivotal in helping me maintain both physical strength and mental clarity. It offers a nurturing space where I can breath deeply and release any tension or anxiety lingering from my past experiences. Yoga encourages mindfulness, allowing me to fully appreciate each moment in life.

As I balance my art and fitness journey, I feel more empowered. My health is not just an aspect of my life; it's a cornerstone that defines how I approach my art and interactions with the world. Embracing a healthier lifestyle gives me the energy I need to pursue my passions genuinely. I'm taking back my body from cancer.

I encourage everyone to explore creative outlets and find physical practices that resonate with them. There is beauty in overcoming obstacles and emerging stronger on the other side. If my story inspires even one person to embrace their health and find joy in creativity, then I know I'm on the right path. Let's continue to thrive, one brushstroke and yoga pose at a time!

Thanks for visiting my littler corner of the internet! I can't wait to connect with you soon.
