My breast cancer journey

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I've created this blog to give you more insights into my work, art, life and overall journey.

If you've read my "about" page then you've probably seen that I was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year in May (2025). Yes, I am currently 33 years old and have been on quite the journey over the past few months.

To sum this up; I opted for a double mastectomy with reconstruction, suffered anaphylactic shock which resulted in me being admitted into ICU, discharged the next day to be re-referred for surgery again just two days later. I did IVF for a few weeks to freeze my eggs, and jumped straight into chemotherapy for months, and have now begun hormone blocking therapy. I could not have made it this far without my team, my family and friends. Thank you for supporting me through this storm.

My journey isn't over yet and there are still further things I need to do to ensure I live a healthy, long life. I am trying to rebuild my life after being pulled apart by breast cancer.

So, what does this have to do with my art business? I use my personal journey to create meaningful abstract art.

"I'm here to challenge breast cancer and raise awareness".

Using my art I share my truth, purpose and calling with the world. I am inspired to work through the pain, overcome the struggles and challenges, and push myself to create work that speaks to others while carrying a powerful message.

To all the others out there; also fighting breast cancer, who fought 'til the end, who have overcome it, who are supporting someone through it, or anyone going through a chronic illness, you are strong and so, so loved. I am so passionate about this cause. I will keep fighting for myself, my family and for others.

Now where do YOU come in? Having you here viewing my site, reading my blog, signing up to my newsletter, following me on Pinterest, becoming a long term client, any and ALL make the difference, supporting this cause. I appreciate you more than you know.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and I can't wait to connect with you soon.
